# Nature's Guardian event model
Nature's Guardian (`talent-1699`) has generated rank spells 30881, 30883, and 30884. The local generated rank rows expose proc chances of 33%, 66%, and 100%. Their rank descriptions share the capstone text: a damaging non-periodic attack that brings the Shaman below 30% health grants a small heal and makes the next Nature spell guaranteed to critically strike, with a 30-second cooldown. See [the generated talent row](../src/game/wow335Talents.generated.ts#L74316).

The runtime treats “brings you below 30%” as a strict threshold crossing: pre-hit health must be at least 30%, post-hit health must be below 30%, and the attack must land and deal positive health damage. A character already below 30% does not retrigger it. Rank chance and cooldown are read from the generated rank effect and description rather than copied as independent constants. The tooltip does not specify the self-heal amount or its healing-power formula; that rider remains unimplemented.

The tooltip calls the charge the next “Nature spell” without limiting it to damage. The class catalog classifies Shaman healing spells such as Healing Wave as Nature spells, and the combat model supports critical heals, so an accepted Nature damage or healing spell may spend the charge. It is held through cast time and consumed once when the eligible spell resolves. A rejected cast or a cast interrupted before resolution does not consume it. A resolved spell spends one charge even if its damage misses or a heal is fully overhealed; multi-target impacts belong to that one spell and do not spend extra charges. Nature periodic ticks are not separate spell casts. Whether a Nature DoT-only cast spends the charge is not explicit in the generated text and remains outside this implementation. The generated text does not describe separate charge expiration, so the charge has no inferred timeout.

Coverage applies to player and generated companion Shamans. This behavior does not grant generic companions the Shaman talent. Nature-healing eligibility follows the unqualified generated “Nature spell” wording; the unspecified self-heal stays blocked independently.
