Bite-Sized Stockade spell-blocking playtest — 2026-10-05

The frozen production build completed Stormwind Stockade: Cellblock Rush through the ordinary dungeon picker and live movement/healing UI. The harness created a Discipline Priest through the ordinary offline UI, then advanced the isolated profile to level 30 using shell.saveActiveProgression(30, 0, talentRanks) before dungeon entry. It used four Ready companions. During the run, it recorded the seeded boss selected by dungeon progress, Hamhock (source entityId: entry-1717 and sampled runtime actor creature-79098); runtime serverEntry was unavailable and remains null. The native full-clear result verified at 03:18.0 with 1/1 boss defeated. No combat-state, enemy, health, aura, cast, teleport, or collision-bypass writes were used during play.

The recorded invocation was:

$env:HEALER_MAN_STOCKADE_DIST = 'F:\Projects\HealerMan\artifacts\npc-spell-blocking-2026-10-05\frozen-dist-2026-10-05T20-15-58-183Z'
node scripts/playtest-stockade-spell-blocking.cjs --bite-sized-stockade --frozen-build-authorized --expected-build-sha256=864781d16c3c0a26457b6acd7a9bd31357116f856e6b27258b5b633d2f224fac

The successful run is playtest-artifacts/stockade-spell-blocking/20261005-202545227/. Build fingerprint 864781d16c3c0a26457b6acd7a9bd31357116f856e6b27258b5b633d2f224fac matched before and after. The full content manifest SHA-256 remained c946bbd7dd15c1508a2d8f0bf26491c8f63d2b533bbaba366f63413ce0f8f5c8. One manifest and all 2,124 served hash-addressed content objects were verified against their addresses and manifest entries; there were no integrity failures.

Across 830 sampled combat events, 29 damage events indicated a block. Six were party attacks blocked by hostiles: two party auto-attacks, two Rogue Sinister Strikes, and two Warrior Revenges. Twenty-three were hostile attacks blocked by party members: 19 basic attacks and four spell-15657 events. The spell-15657 events are hostile-source attacks against the party tank; this record does not attribute them as outgoing party casts. Fourteen of the 29 events had a numeric blocked amount; 15 did not, and their amounts remain unknown. No critical event with block was observed. Correlated Revenge event 322 recorded postHitBlockRoll=0.04820474120788276, a 5% post-hit block chance, and 15 blocked damage.

The player produced nine healing events totaling 2,801.9 effective healing. No party deaths or recovery actions were observed. The result screen showed the player at level 32 and companions at level 31. Page errors were zero; the only console error was a missing local /favicon.ico (404).

Combat telemetry is sampled from read-only snapshots of a 200-event store ring. Polling and event-ID deduplication can miss events that age out between snapshots, so the counts describe observed evidence rather than exhaustive run totals. In the screenshot review, equipment and character bodies were visible; close party spacing still caused some overlap and edge occlusion, and the compact roster clipped a name while its Continue control remained clickable. The screenshots and raw event, NPC aura, source ability, content manifest, and build manifest evidence are in the run directory.

An initial preserved attempt (20261005-201756813) stopped because the selected boss was not loaded in the first entry snapshot. The harness now reads the seeded selection from dungeon-run progress and confirms the live objective during normal traversal; it does not wait at the entry for a distant boss. The completed run record’s inherited stance-playtest notes were replaced with spell-blocking counts and an explicit sampled-telemetry caveat.

Both wrapper syntax and static prepare-only checks pass. Temporary harness files are removed and the owned server port 55740 has no listener. Windows denied process-command-line inspection; unrelated shared Node processes were left untouched. Root independently rehashed all 5,964 frozen build files with zero mismatches and reviewed the roster, entrance, route and native-results screenshots.
