# Scout/Priest Screen Attack (499555)
## Selected CoA behavior
The current Chronicles of Arcadia Scout/Priest skill list keeps Screen Attack under ID 499555 and lists it as an instant active skill with a 60-second cooldown and a 17.4% raid damage increase for 20 seconds. The row is Screen Attack **+55** for Scout/Priest level 70: +55 is the skill training level, separate from the character level requirement. Its radius is 150. The 11.1.1 patch notes identify the rework from passive to active, say the effect also applies to damage-over-time effects, and give a 30-second duration, 60-second cooldown, and 17.4% damage increase.
The current skill entry is selected for the runtime values: +17.4% damage, 20 seconds, and 60 seconds. This resolves the direct duration conflict in favor of the current CoA skill entry over the earlier rework patch note. The patch note remains the evidence for periodic-damage coverage because the current entry does not repeat that clause. The simulator does not track per-skill training levels, so the current +55 value is represented as a fixed +17.4% at every character level rather than being scaled by skill training.
## RuneWaker conflict and implementation boundary
The local generated RuneWaker row for 499555 is a passive marker that says Aggro Lead (499578) increases damage. CoA reworked Screen Attack into a standalone active buff. The override is gated on all of: RuneWaker source, primary Scout, secondary Priest, and spell ID 499555. It does not change other pairings or Scout-primary skills.
The simulator represents CoA's raid recipients with the current party roster; it does not model a separate raid roster here. The listed radius 150 is interpreted as 15 project units using the 10:1 range conversion already used for other CoA mechanics. Generic party aura targeting includes the caster, then maps eligible living party-roster actors to runtime actors and filters allies by an inclusive 3D radius and line of sight. Allies without usable positions cannot pass the radius check. The current CoA entry lists no resource cost, so the catalog uses no cost. It lists an instant cast; the catalog preserves the general 1.5-second simulator GCD.
The aura is a generic +17.4% damage-dealt modifier. The player and companion cast-completion paths apply generic party auras, and the shared damage resolver consumes damage-dealt auras for both direct damage and periodic ticks while retaining the originating actor. This means the ability uses those generic routes without a Screen Attack-specific damage hook.
Player and generated-companion integration tests cover activation, eligible recipients, fixed direct damage and periodic tick scaling, the exact 20-second expiration boundary, and the 60-second cooldown boundary. Recipient coverage verifies caster inclusion, living party-roster membership, an inclusive 3D radius edge, line of sight, and exclusion of dead, out-of-range, occluded, or unpositioned allies. The damage fixtures isolate the shared modifier resolver from Scout-specific shot effects. Those tests exposed that the shared dealt-damage resolver included expired source auras; it now uses the already-filtered active aura list, so Screen Attack stops increasing damage exactly at expiration.
