# Warrior/Druid Rage of Calmness: post-hit Rage reduction source audit **Checked:** 2026-10-02 **Scope:** Only the unresolved general Rage-cost reduction after a successful Whirlwind hit for Rage of Calmness (494377). Existing Rage of Calmness Whirlwind cost/cooldown clauses are outside this audit and remain unchanged. ## Result The reduction amount remains unsourced for the Rage of Calmness passive, so it stays unwired. RuneWaker component 506368 provides a 20-second effect window but no reduction amount. The current Chronicles of Arcadia Warrior/Druid page separately gives its listed general Whirlwind (494939) an inherent hit rider of 30% for 15 seconds with a 20-second retrigger lockout. The page does not explicitly say that this Whirlwind rider is supplied by passive 494377; the passive entry itself gives no number, duration, or lockout. Do not transfer the 30% value to 494377 without an explicit source link. ## Current CoA page comparison The [Warrior/Druid page](https://chroniclesofarcadia.com/en/wiki/skills/list/1-8) lists general Whirlwind 494939 as costing 20 Rage with a 5-second cooldown; its own successful-hit text reduces Rage consumption by 30% for 15 seconds and prevents another trigger for 20 seconds after the effect ends. Separately, Rage of Calmness 494377 says Whirlwind has lower cooldown and Rage cost and that hitting a target reduces general Rage consumption, but provides no amount or timing. This same-page proximity does not explicitly attribute Whirlwind's 30% row to passive 494377. The comparator [Warrior/Rogue page](https://chroniclesofarcadia.com/en/wiki/skills/list/1-3) lists general Whirlwind 490125 (30 Rage, 20-second cooldown) without the 30% rider. The [Warrior/Warlock page](https://chroniclesofarcadia.com/en/wiki/skills/list/1-9) lists general Whirlwind 490133 (50 Rage, 30-second cooldown), also without that rider. Its Warrior/Rogue passive Exhaustion 493248 has a different, explicit Whirlwind cost/cooldown clause. These pages show the 30%/15s/20s text on the Warrior/Druid page's Whirlwind row; they do not establish that it is the missing numeric value of the passive's post-hit clause. ## RuneWaker component 506368 The local generated catalog maps passive 494377 to component 506368. The raw `F:\Projects\Runewaker\Resource\data\magicobject.db` record is present and matches the catalog's recorded `magicObject` source hash. At record offset 6,317,196, component 506368 has `EffectTime=20`, an Assist magic function, zero damage/effect values, zero ability-modifier entries, and no named run-plot (`PlotName` is `none`). The parsed timed/on-hit/rebound/death magic references and all six `BuffSkill` entries are zero. No hidden child is referenced by this component. The raw `Ability.OnAttackMagicRate` field is 10, but its paired `OnAttackMagicID` is 0. The RuneWaker `RoleDataEx::AddAbility_Buff` path installs this on-attack trigger only when the ID is nonzero; the scheduler then uses the rate to cast that linked magic. This unbound 10 is therefore not evidence of a Rage-cost reduction, and must not be interpreted as 10% or 10 Rage. Local Lua search finds no reference to 506368 or 494377; the lone 490133 occurrence is an unrelated NPC rotation in `Resource\luascript\01506.lua`. The available engine snapshot shows generic cast finalization calling `DelMagicCost`, but does not include that method's definition or a component-506368-specific handler. It cannot establish a hidden numeric modifier. Thus the raw data and checked engine/script paths do not fill the amount missing from the skill text. ## Implementation decision Keep the post-hit general Rage-cost reduction out of runtime and generated numeric claims. Retain the already modeled local 10-Rage Whirlwind cost reduction and 10-second cooldown reduction, along with the known 20-second window only as descriptive source data; this audit does not change those clauses. Do not add a numeric helper or tests for the unquantified rider. A future integration needs a source that explicitly ties an amount and activation semantics to Rage of Calmness 494377 (including the applicable Whirlwind identity and retrigger/window rules).
