# WoW Source-Blocker Follow-up

## Scope

Reviewed the current Vindication, Soul Leech, Nature's Guardian, and Static Shock blocker notes in `docs/ACTIVE_CLASS_MECHANICS_BACKLOG.md`, `docs/WOW_SHAMAN_REMAINING_TALENT_AUDIT.md`, `docs/WOW_SHAMAN_NATURES_GUARDIAN.md`, and `docs/ROM_WARLOCK_REMAINING_CONFLICTS_AUDIT.md`. The existing Area-52 patch-D and current patch-T DBC review and the exhausted website searches were not repeated.

The new local-source sweep covered source, addon, data, and documentation trees in `F:\Projects\WoWee`; the backed-up client add-ons in `F:\Projects\WoW-Pvt-Server-Backups\wow335a`; and spell scripts plus bounded SQL update directories in the AzerothCore snapshots under `F:\Projects\WoW-Pvt-Server-Backups` and `F:\Projects\wow-pvt-server-backups-2`.

## Findings

- **Paladin Vindication (talent 1633, rank 3 spell 209452):** No sibling source connected either self-targeted DUMMY effect to an AP operation or a child spell. The backup [MultiBotTalent.lua](../../WoW-Pvt-Server-Backups/wow335a/Interface/AddOns/MultiBot-Chatless-main/UI/MultiBotTalent.lua) contains only stock Vindication ranks 9452 and 26016. The separate generated SLS row 209451 naming 200067 remains unlinked from 209452. Needed evidence: an Area-52 server/client binding from 209452 to the AP-changing effect and its exact amount or formula, including its rank and proc gate.
- **Warlock Soul Leech (talent 1678):** No sibling source connected custom rows 830297–830299 to rank spells 30293, 30295, or 30296. The AzerothCore [spell_warlock.cpp](../../wow-pvt-server-backups-2/azerothcore-wotlk/src/server/scripts/Spells/spell_warlock.cpp) implementation is the stock 3.3.5a Soul Leech path and does not bind these Area-52 helper IDs. Needed evidence: the custom rank-to-helper link and the event/consumption rule that applies the +30% critical chance after a physical hit during an eligible cast.
- **Shaman Nature's Guardian (talent 1699):** No sibling source supplies the Area-52 capstone heal formula. The generated rank text still describes only a “small amount” increased by healing power. The AzerothCore [spell_shaman.cpp](../../wow-pvt-server-backups-2/azerothcore-wotlk/src/server/scripts/Spells/spell_shaman.cpp) code handles stock spell 30881 and its stock health/threat behavior; it does not establish the custom tooltip's heal amount. Needed evidence: the custom heal's base amount and healing-power scaling formula, with its rank gate.
- **Shaman Static Shock (talent 2055):** No sibling source resolves the generated condition `$?s973827[1 second][1.5 seconds]` for rank spells 51525–51527. The AzerothCore [spell_shaman.cpp](../../wow-pvt-server-backups-2/azerothcore-wotlk/src/server/scripts/Spells/spell_shaman.cpp) handler is for stock 51525 and only dispatches the Lightning Shield hit and consumes a charge; it does not establish an Area-52 internal-cooldown rank mapping. Needed evidence: the custom condition-to-rank mapping specifying which ranks use each cooldown.

## Source-role boundary

`WoWee` search hits were unrelated item-set references. The backed-up client add-on data describes stock 3.3.5a Vindication IDs. The server code is stock AzerothCore, not an Area-52 patch-D/current patch-T source. These findings are useful for excluding mismatched references, not for supplying Area-52 behavior. No mechanic in this follow-up has a new authoritative binding complete enough to implement.
